There's nothing like sitting in the cab of a combine cutting a beautiful crop of wheat! Working for Van Driesten Harvesting Ltd. is one of the best experiences I've ever had. The camaraderie between the crew is awesome.. From joking around on the 2-way to getting down and dirty when there's maintenance to do on the equipment, you become as close as family. Not to mention Britt is a fantastic cook! ☺ ️ Harvest is an awesome opportunity to see some country and make new friends. I've got three seasons under my belt and if the opportunity comes up again I would go again in a heartbeat!

Was amazing working for VDH! It was a great experience and lot of fun. I had an amazing crew to work with the whole time I was there; also Mike an Brittany are good to work for very understanding and kind. I . Learned a lot and out of all the farm experience I’ve had, this would be one of the best. I would definitely recommend, if I had a chance to do it again I would.

I started going on a custom harvest crew in 2014 and I fell in love with it. Since then I kept going back down almost every year; this time with family. It’s such an amazing experience - it really is. The crew starts to feel like your own brothers. Some of my really close friends I made on harvest. Mike and Brittany are really good to their crew - doing things like taking you to Mount Rushmore, taking you out to dinner, or letting you use the pick up to go have some fun on rain days. The miles you do, the country you see, and the friends you make is like no other. This is an experience you’ll never forget. I would strongly recommend doing the custom harvest run.

The Harvest run is an experience that will take you on an adventure. Travelling the country side, seeing towns and places you might not other wise visit. With a crew of strangers that in the end will become friends. Learning things you might never have the opportunity to experience. Making memories and stories that will stick with you for a life time. With Harvest 2021 in the books, now we look back and see the memories and friendships made thru this season.
Thanks for an amazing season Mike & Brittany!

I started working for VDH in 2019 as a Grain Cart & Combine Operator. In 2020 I returned with my Class 1 and gained experience Hauling oversize & hauling grain. 2021 brought new challenges, and Mike sending me out on my own when needed. I have learned many new skills and made lifelong friends.

My time with the VDH crew was a ton of fun and made lots of memories. Joining the harvest crew was a great way to travel and see a good chunk of America well making money doing so. I would highly recommend VDH if you're looking to go on the harvest run.

I joined the crew as a new driver, I had the fortune to be able to experience the harvest run from the summer heat of Oklahoma to the chilly fall of North Dakota with a great crew. I gained experience hauling grain with doubles as well as hauling oversize. My favorite memory was the state of Montana, having the chance to go see all the sights along the way, and the countless hours of working on them summer nights. Life long memories.

Working on a harvest crew was something new to me and I joined as a driver late in the season to help finish up. I’m glad I got to learn more about the harvest operation, the equipment used as well as the grains harvested. I was able to gain experience hauling a variety of grains with a combination of trailers in a safe and controlled manner. The crew as a whole were all very supportive, understanding and easy to get along with. An unforgettable experience I would recommend to anyone wanting to share laughs and is up for an adventure.

I joined VDH for the 2023 harvest season as a truck driver. We travelled to so many places and got to see such an amazing chunk of country. Doing a harvest run has always been a dream of mine and I’m beyond grateful that I took the opportunity that was in front of me to go on the run. There’s so many memories that were made with a great group of guys. If anyone is interested in going on harvest, do it. Great team to work with and Brittany always keeps our belly’s full of smoker meals!

Going on the harvest run in 2023 was a great experience not only to have on my license but also for myself, I was hired as a truck driver and had just gotten my license that winter before the season, Mike and Brittany were great to work with and they try their best to keep an excellent environment for all their employees. Any questions you have will be answered and any concerns will be taken care of, if I were to do it again there’s no doubt I would work for them.
